Lochie Size Chart
Most customers find our Lochies are true to size. We suggest comparing your foot length to the footbed measurement and allowing around 0.5–1cm of extra space for the best fit.

How do I measure my foot length?
Stand with your weight evenly distributed across both feet. Place a ruler or measuring tape against a wall and measure from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe (this isn't always your big toe). Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when choosing your size.

Which footbed measurement should I use?
Use the Length (Footbed) column in the measurement chart above. Compare your foot length to this measurement and allow around 0.5–1cm of extra space for the best fit. Lochie footbeds run from 232 mm (EU 36) to 290 mm (EU 43).
What do I do if I'm a half size? Are these true to size?
Yes, our Lochies fit true to size. If you're a half size, don't guess based on your usual shoe size. We suggest comparing your foot length to the footbed measurement and allowing around 0.5–1cm of extra space for the best fit. The Lochie also features 3 adjustable straps on each shoe, so you can fine-tune your fit at the forefoot, instep and heel.
Where should I measure to get an accurate measurement of the width?
Measure across the widest part of your foot (around the ball of the foot / bunion joints), then compare to the footbed width on the size chart. Our Lochies are designed to a C-width, sitting slightly wider than our B-width Bobbi and Tully boots, but not as wide as the D-width Oberon boot.
If I'm a half size am I better to go up or down a size?
Neither by default. Measure your foot first. We suggest comparing your foot length to the footbed measurement and allowing around 0.5–1cm of extra space for the best fit. The 3 adjustable straps let you tighten or loosen across the forefoot, instep and heel for a personalised fit, and the rubber and neoprene lining will soften with wear, so a slightly snug start is normal.
What size should I go for if I have one foot bigger than the other?
Go with the size that fits your larger foot, then use the 3 adjustable straps to fine-tune the fit on each foot.
Are the Lochies unisex?
Yes, all Merry People products are unisex and designed to be worn by anyone. Use the Women / Men toggle on the size conversion chart above to find your AU, US and UK equivalent. Lochies are currently available in EU 36 to 43, with availability varying by colour.
